The National Center of Competence in Research “Affective Sciences – Emotions in Individual Behaviour and Social Processes” (NCCR Affective Sciences) is the first research centre worldwide dedicated to the interdisciplinary study of emotions and their effects on human behaviour and society.

The NCCR Affective Sciences brings together more than 100 researchers from various disciplines and universities.

The NCCR Affective Sciences is funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) and is hosted at the University of Geneva (Swiss Center for Affective Sciences).
