The main purpose of the Graduate School in Affective Sciences is to provide a basis of interdisciplinary competence to doctoral students.

A series of scientific events constitute the Graduate School. These events include:

• Swiss Affective Science Academy,
• Seminars of the "Centre Interfacultaire en Sciences Affectives" (CISA),
• thematic meetings,
• methodological meetings,
• applied research seminars,
• professional skills seminars,
• meetings "on demand",
• “Doctoral Students" days,
• participation in other Affective Science seminars,
• Grants for other summer schools, and
• Presentations at international conferences.
